Charism:

The charism of the Sacred Heart Sodality is to foster devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, promoting love, compassion, and service to others, inspired by the Heart of Christ.

Spirituality:

The spirituality of the Sacred Heart Sodality is rooted in:

1. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, contemplating His love and mercy.
2. Prayer, particularly the Rosary and the Litany of the Sacred Heart.
3. Service to others, especially the poor, sick, and marginalized.
4. Formation and education, deepening members’ understanding of their faith.
5. Community, building a supportive and loving environment among members.

The Sodality’s spirituality is guided by the teachings of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, who promoted devotion to the Sacred Heart, and St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, the founder of the Society of the Sacred Heart, who emphasized the importance of education and service.
