Pope’s Prayer Intentions for November 2019:  Dialogue and Reconciliation in the Near East: That a spirit of dialogue, encounter, and reconciliation emerge in the Near East, where diverse religious communities share their lives together.

Penitential Service: for the Parish in preparation for Christmas, will be on Monday 02 December 2019 at 18h30.

Ushers: there’ll be training for all the people who gave their names for ushering in the Parish, on Sunday 01 December 2019 after 07h30 Mass

Retreat: The Liturgy and Divine Worship Department is inviting Altar Servers to the Archdiocese Retreat on 07 December 2019 at the Cathedral Hall at 09h00-15h00. A contribution of R10.00 p/p is requested to cover the retreat costs. Altar servers are to bring their own lunch, tea and coffee will be served. Please give your names to Khanya.

Christmas Programme: inviting all the Old; sick and poor people in the Parish to a short Christmas Programme and lunch on 14 December 2019. We shall begin with Mass at 09h30. Eucharistic Ministers and Zone leaders please give names of the people in your zones by next Sunday. Families who collect groceries monthly to please note that there’ll be no distribution of groceries on 30 November 2019. Distribution will be done on the 14th Dec. we humbly request Parishioners for donations towards this project, monetary or in kind.

Carol Competition: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Retreat Centre will hold Christmas Carol Competitions on 07 December 2019, 09h00-16h00. Choirs and Groups of at least 5 members are encouraged to participate. Registration is R100.00 per group/choir and will close on 17 November 2019. See notice board for rules/ terms & conditions of the competition.

Book Stall: Springs of Carmel Bible Diaries and Liturgical Calendars 2020 are now available from our Book store at R100/copy and R25/ copy respectively.

Congratulations: to all the children who got First Communion today. May they always know the peace of Jesus, the light of his love, and the joy of his life within them.

Confessions: Saturdays 12h00-13h00, and any day by appointment.

Rosary: Every Tuesday at 19h00 the rosary is recited at the Grotto with a procession thereafter. Everyone is invited to come and pray.

Bible Study: classes to be advised by Fr Arvin Tauro.
